Technical Support

The Technical Services Section (TS) in GSEL is responsible for conducting engineering services and activities to maintain fleet reliability, and on the other hand to perform technical analysis and recommend improvement programs to optimize fleet operational reliability in a cost effective manner for customer fleet operation.

Technical Services activities are included as follows:

GSEL Technical Services can participate to review the necessary engineering services when required and they are considered as the essential responsibilities. Decisions made for modification incorporation are based on satisfying fleet operational, safety and regulatory requirements, reliability improvement and economical benefit
Coordination with customer for fleet configuration changes against modification needs, compilation and agreement of recommendations
Fleet maintenance monitoring and recommendation of improvement program. Technical Services shall perform data entry such as workshop report for verification of defect trend, and coordinate with customer when required
Maintain All Service History by our in-house developed Workshop Information System (WIS) and provide detail investigation report to customer as required.
Continuous verbal and email communications with customer to follow up technical issues
Conduct technical incident investigations and compilation of reports to assist customer whenever necessary
Liaise with customer and vendors on various issues such as warranty and cost effectiveness to drive improvement
Dispute over the decision of embodiment of modifications will be resolved between Senior Management of both Companies with support documents of technical evaluation and economical analysis submitted by GSEL
